How we got here

From global brands to our home town

  1. 1
    Chapter one

    Out in the world

We spent years inside global media. Alex developed content strategies for Motorsport Network, worked on Newsweek's SEO and produced seven-figure sponsorship deliverables for Authentic Brands Group and Sports Illustrated. Lydia created content in partnership with Sports Illustrated and assets supporting American Express activations around Formula 1.

  2. 2
    Chapter two

    A walk through town

Back home in Stratford-upon-Avon, walking through the town centre, we passed shop after shop, café after café, run by people with brilliant products. And many of them were struggling with the same things we'd been fixing for global brands: rising costs, too much admin, and not enough time to reach new customers.

  3. 3
    Chapter three

    Bringing it home

So we started Harrington Digital. The same systems, skills and standards the big players use, sized and priced for independent businesses, with the people who built them just down the road.

Alex Harrington

Alex Harrington

Founder & Strategy Director

A former editorial director with a decade of experience in digital media, audience growth and content operations. Alex builds the systems that let teams do more without burning out.

He has developed content strategies for Motorsport Network, worked on SEO for Newsweek, produced seven-figure sponsorship deliverables for Authentic Brands Group and Sports Illustrated, and worked with athletes Josh Bridges and Josh Hader. Lydia Mee

Lydia Mee

Operations & Brand Director

A brand builder with real commercial and creative experience. Lydia focuses on how a business looks, how it talks to customers and the behind-the-scenes workflows that make it all run smoothly.

She has worked with hospitality group Quint, producing content in partnership with Sports Illustrated, created assets supporting American Express activations around Formula 1 and F1 Academy, and supported campaigns for PATRÓN TEQUILA and Rockstar Energy, turning short-lived social trends into content that keeps bringing people in.

Digital growth isn't just about balancing spreadsheets; it's about how you show up visually and how you talk to your customers. From working with global F1 activations, I know the importance of a strong visual identity. But having helped run SEO strategies across global networks, I also know that 'pretty' isn't enough. We help businesses turn their passions into content that keeps working for them.

How it works

How we work: four simple steps

1

Free 30-minute review

Over a coffee in Stratford or on a video call. You walk us through a normal week and we look for where time and money are leaking.

2

A one-page plan and a fixed price

The two or three things worth doing first, what each should save or earn, what it costs and any running costs. No obligation.

3

We build it and test it with you

Nothing goes near your customers until you're happy with it. We show your team how it works and write it down.

4

Support while it beds in

We check in after launch and tune anything that needs it. Keep us on for ongoing support, or run it yourself.
